The "High Country Heartbreakers" is a musical group dedicated to recreating the songs of the legendary artist Tom Petty.
Forming in 2022, this five piece band has taken off quickly and very successfully, growing its fan base playing several venues and private events in the Denver metro area. "HCH" plays your favorite Tom Petty hits but also likes to perform the songs that are a little bit more obscure for the big fans. With over 30 songs in their catalog, the "High Country Heartbreakers" offer a true Tom Petty experience!
They are actively booking shows for 2025.

TRIP
Bass Guitar
Trip Carter is an Aerospace Engineer by day and has been playing bass professionally since he was 18. He channels a broad musical taste through this Petty experience.

Drums
Jon Starr has been drumming since his childhood and has played in many Rock, Jazz, Reggae and Funk bands from Colorado to California. “The Petty library asks for drums in a basic style that fits and bolsters some of the best songs ever written in Rock and Roll.”

Nicholas Zamora has been in the music business for over 30 years as a Musician, Band Leader, Musical Director, Producer, Audio Engineer and Recording Artist. "Tom Petty is an American Icon and I'm honored to sing these songs."

Todd Kirsch has been playing in Denver-area rock and blues bands for over 20 years. Being a long-time and avid fan of Tom Petty, Todd enjoys channeling his inner Mike Campbell and leaving it all out there on the stage.
KAYLA
Keyboards Backing Vocals
Kayla Smith is our new keyboardist and backup singer. She is a singer songwriter from south Florida. She found her love of performing through various jazz clubs in Miami. As the newest member of the band, she is excited to explore the Tom Petty Catalogue and the music scene in Colorado.
